I have some exciting news for you all!
As many of you will already know, Compass was nominated for the Sunshine Coast Business Awards scheduled for last Saturday – 15th November – at the Innovation Centre. The first part of the process was based on an exhaustive written application and we made it through to become a finalist in our category – Knowledge Industries and Professional Services – which was one of the largest with 16 other finalists. Stage two was a 45 minute interview with 3 members of the judging panel and we were very ably represented by DJ and Amy.
And the result….
DRUM ROLL………
WE WON!!!!
By WE – I mean the whole team at Compass because it’s the work of the staff members and all the trainees that makes this type of recognition possible.
The judge on the night commented on the high quality of our application and of the two representatives in the interview, so an extra pat on the back to them!
Chairman, Ian Newton, made a very gracious speech in front of the 600 attendees when accepting the award on our behalf and we’ll be sure to bring the framed certificate along to the Awards Night to celebrate with all of you.
